Mixed Feelings recently enjoyed a fabulous party in aid of the Berkhamsted School PTA.
It was the spring ball, and what a fine ball it was.
Mixed Feelings have been doing the Berkhamsted School Events for the last 4 years, where they have all been held at the school itself, however this year was slightly different.
Ashridge House was the venue of choice for the event, and a very good choice indeed.
Ashridge House is a spectacular, award-winning venue in Hertfordshire, in the rolling Chiltern Hills, surrounded by 190 acres of stunning gardens. Once a royal residence to King Henry VIII and home to Princes and Princesses, Ashridge House is the perfect location for any event. With grand, turreted façades, beautiful gardens and a choice of elegant reception rooms, it’s a dramatic, romantic, unique backdrop for the most unforgettable event.
With 700 years of regal heritage, it’s difficult to find a more majestic backdrop for a private function. Each historic reception room has its own unique character, ranging from rich opulence to understated elegance and the terraces offer exceptional views over landscaped gardens. With an award-winning team of chefs and personal event co-ordinators, the venue can tailor-make an event worthy of any special occasion.
The Berkhamsted School PTA enjoyed a lavish Champagne Reception, followed by a well prepared 3 course meal, and then of course the best entertainment around – Mixed Feelings Party Band and DJ, going on to Midnight, keeping the dance floor jumping and the whole place rocking.
Due to size, numbers and finances, Mixed Feelings were booked to perform with the 6-piece line up – a fantastic choice, and it was a proper intimate affair.
The event was spread out in 4 different rooms, and it wasn’t long until people came cramming into the dance and music room which had guests spilling out into the bar area.
A fantastic party, with great people, great music and a great atmosphere.
Looks like the band will be getting booked back again for next year.
