At the end of 2017, Mixed Feelings were handed a sponsorship. Now as we start the very beginning of 2019, lets take this opportunity to reflect and talk about it. Mixed Feelings would like to say a massive thank you to our sponsor, Brendan McNicholas, for his kind generosity. It has been an amazing 12 months, and Mixed Feelings have gone from strength to strength.
A local news article was written at the time of the sponsorship, and Mixed Feelings would like to share it with you.
Popular Party Band ‘Tee Off’ with Sponsorship
Popular Party Band ‘Mixed Feelings’ is seriously Teeing Off in style in 2018, with a fantastic sponsorship deal from Mill Hill Golf Club member, Brendan McNicholas.
Brendan, who has been a member of the club for over 12 years originally made friends with staff member, Lee Reboul who at the time was a Golf Pro Instructor. In lee’s spare time he enjoys entertaining the members of the club with his fantastic voice and magnificent stage presence, performing at charity events and fundraisers organised by Mill Hill Golf Club. Since then, Lee has now gone on to join forces with popular party band Mixed Feelings who are based in Hemel Hempstead, Herts. Mixed Feelings have been going for several years and are very well known on the London scene and surrounding areas. Mixed Feelings have performed all over the country and the world performing to crowds from 150 to 40,000+. Weddings, Barmitzvah’s, Corporate Events or just a good old knees up, Mixed Feelings will guarantee to bring the party to you!
Greg Nicholls, who is the Director of Mixed Feelings, since taking over from his father who retired in 2016, mentions –
It is a very kind and generous offer of Brendan to sponsor the band. With the amount of competition out there, Mixed Feelings needed something different to separate us from the rest. Lee, and myself were chatting at a gig recently on how we can become more popular, and Lee mentioned about getting a sponsor ship deal and investing the money.
Lee, who still works at the Club part time, has formed a huge friendship with Brendan over the years playing golf, giving tutorials, socialising and entertaining. Brendan is the Managing Director of First Call Traffic Management, who offers a wide range of accredited traffic management services to the Highways Agency, Local Authorities, contractors, utilities and event management. They are also a registered LANTRA, City and Guilds and JUAPT training centre offering sector scheme training, traffic management training, health and safety training as well as Driver CPC including PCV and LGV training. Brendan – I am a huge fan of lee’s voice and he is also a cracking guy! I am so glad he has joined a big professional outfit such as Mixed Feelings and is doing what he loves.
I had Mixed Feelings at Mill Hill Golf Club when I had my Captains Day Party, and it was a fantastic day. I wish Lee and the rest of the guy’s good luck and I hope my sponsorship leads on to better things for the band!
