Once again, it was great to be back at The Rosie May Ball Charity.
Another great live performance and a cracking event, with lots of dancing and live music at Belvoir Castle.
Charity Events, Mixed Feelings hold close to the heart.
For the last 20 years, Mixed Feelings have continually been booked back to perform and entertain at this magnificent event and charity.
Having become friends with the clients, and having the clients still loving the band and the music, it obvious that Mixed Feelings are still doing things right in the music and Entertainment Industry.
Mixed Feelings love every minute of this charity, and will be back soon to perform an excellent show.
Booking Mixed Feelings back for an event is starting to become a regular habit for our clients.
Mixed Feelings are often starting to become part of the furniture.
Over the past twelve years, the Rosie May Foundation has developed from a family run charity to an international charity with strategy to help children in crisis, especially girls.
The work at grassroots level is a practical hands on approach which allows children to have a voice and importantly, a choice in their own future.
Many children, especially girls in Sri Lanka and Nepal are abandoned or relinquished by their mothers to orphanages, mostly through poverty, in the belief that they will have a better life and a better future. Siblings are separated by age and gender and forced to live without the love of their family, which has a devastating effect on their development and outcomes are poor. The experience of working with institutionalised children and the damaging effects has enabled them to develop a model of alternative care.
Having a professional live band at any event always makes a difference, and the sound of live music played by professional musicians always gets the crowd up and dancing.
A wonderful charity and always a fantastic fundraising party.
