We would like to say a big thank you to West Herts Golf Club for Booking a Live Band this year, and for also booking a Local Band, Hertfordshire.
It was a bright sunny day, and the crew got to the event early, not just to set up the Band, but to also Up-Light the Marquee in a Summer Pink Colour.
The place looked good, and it also sounded brilliant.
Drinks reception was at 6.30pm and a call for the sit down dinner was at 7.30pm.
Now, MIXED FEELINGS always like to start the evening off with a huge impact and get everyone on the floor asap, however, we couldn’t help but notice the older generation who were no doubt members of the Golf Club for the last 60 years, were all seated around the Dance Floor and in front of the speakers.
MIXED FEELINGS, Mixed Music, put Plan B into action!
The Band started the evening off with a couple of slow songs, which within seconds got the elder generation up and on to the floor.
These slow songs were sang by our excellent Backing Vocalist who got a standing ovation, and then straight into the party with our normal impact.
For a very mixed crowd, and with an age range of 35 to 80, they had the right band for the right event on this occasion.
That is the advantage of not having to rely on Backing Tracks.
MIXED FEELINGS can chop and change the show to suit, and provide you with all your requests.
It was a nice feeling getting the phone call the very next day to say, “We want you back next year!”
