Mixed Feelings are very much experienced when it comes to a Jewish Wedding, or indeed, any Wedding.
Weddings play a big part in peoples lives, and to have it done properly all relies on a good working team of professional people.
Mixed Feelings originally had this particular wedding booked in for May 2020, but due to Covid-19, it was unfortunately postponed to 2021.
However, what was decided in the end, was just to get on with it and get married ASAP.
With The Corona Virus still at large, and social gatherings still kept to a minimum, the Bride & Groom decided to go ahead and get married.
With Mixed Feelings heavily reduced down to a minimal team, and the guest attendance was no more than 12 people (including the Bride & Groom) the ceremony went ahead, followed by an afternoon Tea Party, and the whole event was an absolute success.
With a personalized music preference, lovely weather and a professionally run venue with competent staff, the Bride & Groom really couldn’t believe how easy and successful the day was.
The venue was the very quaint, Reveley Lodge, Bushey.
A new venue to the band, and a real pleasure to of performed in the wonderfully kept gardens and tearoom.
Reveley Lodge is a Grade II listed Victorian house and gardens located in Bushey Heath. Reveley Lodge is managed by Reveley Lodge Trust, a registered charity, established to preserve the house and gardens and to provide an arts and education resource for the community.
The original building was a small house built about 1842. It was extended many times with the last major extension happening in 1896. At one time it had up to thirteen bedrooms, but these were subsequently reduced to eight. For the first 40 years of its life, Reveley Lodge served as a ‘gentleman’s cottage’ in the country. Its wealthy owners had a large house in London, and Bushey acted as a healthy country area within easy reach of the metropolis. A number of similar houses were built in Bushey Heath and they functioned in the same way. Most have been demolished in the intervening years, or converted to other purposes.
We thank you Reveley Lodge for your hospitality, and also wish the Bride & Groom good luck for the future – Mazel Tov.
