One thing about living in the UK, is enjoying the seasons and their contrasts. MIXED FEELINGS loves a good Summer party, but the band also really enjoys a typical traditional Christmas party. On the outside – dark and cold wintery nights with freezing conditions, and then on the inside of the venue, a roaring fire and Christmas decorations with people ready to party.
The band’s recent adventure took them all the way to Walton Hall, Warwickshire. Walton Hall is a 16th-century country mansion, once owned by Lord Field and the entertainer Danny La Rue. Now in use as a hotel (which is part of Accor Hotels), and also being a Grade II* listed building. The Christmas party was for Bosch UK, and what a party it was.
With the usual over-indulgence of Christmas dinner, presentations and other proceedings, the guests soon made their way to the dance floor area to get the party started. A short party but well worth it.
