Birthday parties always play an important part in people’s life.
The big landmark ones like a 21st, 40th, 50, and 60th etc are always remembered.
Mixed Feelings had the pleasure on performing at a very prestigious 60th Birthday party.
No expense was spared for this occasion and the atmosphere was just incredible.
Our client James provided the band with amazing hospitality and a lovely setting in his fields, inside the marquee.
The band really enjoy a marquee event out in the open countryside with no London traffic, congestion charge and noise limiters.
James was really nervous about this day as even though it was his Birthday, he had a special surprise at the end of the night.
It was all top secret and a lot of planning was discussed.
A huge neon sign was hidden at the back of the stage with a draw strung pully system ready for it to be unveiled at the end of the night.
A special request of the last song was played and James and his partner started to dance.
At the very precise moment, the drapes were dropped and the sign said, ‘Will You Marry me’ – it was very emotional but a well-planned operation.
The whole evening was a great success with lots of music, dancing, great entertainment, laughter and celebrations.
