When you book Mixed Feelings for your special event, you always get a minimum of four singers (two girls & two guys) with a four piece backing band.

The most popular size of the band for most events is the ten piece band, with the addition of our Brass section, (Trumpet & Sax).  However, some clients prefer an even bigger band and upgrade to the Supanova Dance Orchestra, with the addition of percussion, extra brass, extra singers and dancers.

With over 40 years experience as a bandleader, Jon Nicholls is suitably qualified to know what makes a good event – be it a Grand Ball or an intimate family party – run successfully.  Jon has access to literally everything in the world of event planning to assist you.  Plus lots of refreshing new ideas.. Remember, we do this every week and are always meeting new ‘acts’.

The most important thing to know is that once you have booked Mixed Feelings, Jon is available to advise you on whatever else you may need to enhance your party. He has lots of contacts and can secure these ‘extras’ at an advantageous price for you. He is there, so why bring in several outside contractors? Just make that call, or drop Jon an email.

• Room Lighting

  A very important factor in planning a party. Get the right atmosphere! Mixed Feelings always carries excellent stage lighting but we can also supply the latest LED architectural lighting, to completely change the atmosphere in any ballroom. You choose the colours you want! Plus table pin-spotting. (See our ‘Light up your party’ page). Enquire also about our ‘Nightclub lighting rig’.

• Starcloth Stage Backdrop

  Mixed Feelings has the latest LED ‘Chameleon’ Starcloth 24’ x 15’ – a very expensive commodity – but always included in the price, where space & safety permits.

• Supanova

  Expand Mixed Feelings, by the addition of more musicians, singers and dancers!

• Dinner Cabaret

  An extremely popular ‘extra,’ with singers performing subtle songs during dinner. Gary Priestley & Suzi Jari, always in demand for this.
