35 minutes north of Mixed Feelings HQ, is a quaint little village called Maulden. In the very scenic countryside of Bedfordshire, Mixed Feelings had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some amazing acts inside a fantastic and well-constructed marquee. The crew put in and set up a lot of equipment to enhance the evening with lighting and extra speakers. The first act on stage was a very talented singer and acoustic guitar player, who played her own tribute to many great artists over the decades. The music played, suited the mood very well as the dinner was being served to all of 600 guests.
After the meal, the big surprise came with the Waiters who leaped on to the stage and went straight in to song and dance, entertaining the audience. A 25-minute set of sing- a -long classical music, and very funny entertainment. Always fun to watch as the crowd are never aware that 2 or 3 of the catering staff are actually professional entertainers and are only stooges!
Mixed Feelings came on to do the last few hours and bringing the house (tent) down. This is now the 6th consecutive year the band has performed at this event, and instantly booked back again for 2018. Mixed Feelings getting booked back immediately after the event has finished, is becoming rather a large habit these days…….
